Melanie Jeppesen

Melanie Jeppesen is Director of AMI Billing Systems at LUMA Energy, where she leads initiatives supporting the modernization of Puerto Rico’s electric system. Her work focuses on advanced metering infrastructure, meter data management, billing-system integration, field operations, and the customer experience. Melanie has more than 14 years of experience in the electric utility industry and has spent the past five years helping advance Puerto Rico’s energy transformation. She is skilled at bringing together technology, operations, regulatory strategy, and customer needs to deliver complex utility programs. Melanie is passionate about using data and intelligent grid technologies to improve customer experience through improved reliability, strengthened utility operations, and data accessibility.
